Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Law – Policy and Legal Design (10.01.2022)
Start the new year (artificially) intelligent!
In January 2022, the last of our AI/IP online workshops will look at "policy and legal design", featuring speakers from, inter alia, the Swiss Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office, the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, the UK Intellectual Property Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Australian Patent Office, the University of Zurich’s Digital Society Initiative, Computer Science Expert and economists.
We want to ask what AI implies for the work of patent offices and other
IP institutions around the world:
- Need IP administration rules a change?
- How do we achieve more transparency on AI involvement in patent applications?
- How to register new concepts of ownership to AI-related IP?
- Where should patent offices employ AI themselves?
